Baked Chicken Drumsticks
Baked Chicken Drumsticks are great because they are easy to prepare, inexpensive, flavorful, low carb and the kids even love them because they have a handle.
These chicken legs are simply smeared with butter and seasoning then baked in the oven. I score the chicken with a sharp knife before rubbing with butter. This gets the flavors inside the chicken. You can skip this step if you prefer.

- Chicken Drumsticks
- Unsalted Butter
- Smoked Paprika
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Sea Salt
How To Cook Chicken Drumsticks In The Oven
- Preheat oven to 425ºF
- Pat chicken dry. Score with a sharp knife. Transfer chicken legs to greased rimmed baking sheet.
- Mix butter, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and salt. Spread mixture onto chicken legs. It will take a bit of patience to get the butter to stick, you want it on top to melt into the chicken legs. Salt chicken.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165ºF and juices run clear. Flip once half way through cook time.
