Roasted Green Beans

These Roasted Green Beans are topped with gooey melty mozzarella cheese. It is a great side dish option for those following a low carb diet as well. These cheesy green beans are a fork and knife type of dish.

Are Green Beans Keto Friendly?

Green beans have lower carbs than most other beans. When eaten in moderation they can certainly fit within the Keto lifestyle.

Ingredients Needed For Cheesy Roasted Green Beans (screenshot for grocery list)

  • Fresh Green Beans
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

How To Make Cheesy Garlic Green Beans

  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF
  2. Toss green beans with oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet. Arrange in an even layer (arranging the beans in the same direction will allow for easier serving).
  3. Bake for 10 minutes. Toss green beans and bake for 8 more minutes.
  4. Top with mozzarella. Broil on high for 3-5 minutes to melt and brown cheese. Serve immediately.

  • 1 Lb Fresh Green Beans - washed, ends trimmed
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 2 Garlic Cloves - grated
  • Salt/Pepper - to taste
  • 6-8 ounces Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 425ºF
    2. Toss green beans with oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet. Arrange in an even layer (arranging the beans in the same direction will allow for easier serving).
